If you’re like me and you can stay up all night, you’re probably not a morning person either. One of my goals for this new year is to be more productive with my time and get up earlier. So here are the things that I am trying to do to help me to be happier in the mornings!
1 — Quit staying up late and watching Netflix! Cancelling my Netflix subscription would probably be the best solution to this, but I’m not quite ready for that yet haha. So instead, I’m making it a goal of mine to just be in bed earlier and shut everything off.
2 — Plan ahead. Think of what you need to do in the morning when you wake up. Having a list of things to do, gives me a reason to get up earlier. If going to the gym is a priority.. put out our gym clothes the night before. 3
3 — Get pumped! Instead of scrolling through Instagram, look at motivational quotes and pictures on Pinterest. Read an inspirational book, journal, or listen to a podcast (my newest favorite thing).
